

She is on Windows 11 Home, with an Office 365 Apps for Business license. I can log into the account via the web portal as well. I have been able to successfully add her account to Outlook on my computer but cannot under her user. The laptop is logged in using a Microsoft account with the same email address, so I believe that is the issue. I deleted the Outlook profile and am now trying to reconnect her GoDaddy branded Office 365 account, but it is constantly failing.

Outlook was looking for the OST file and would not recreate it, as a normal O365 account would. However, it turns out, much to my surprise that my service was not backing up the users OST file (the vendor blames Microsoft VSS services and gave me a regedit to bypass the issue).

I was able to replace the SSD and do a full bare metal restore from my backup service. I have a client laptop, whose SSD died (first I have seen that as well).
