Use the Other systems tar package instead of the deb, check if that makes teamviewerd run.

It's weird that it backgrounds itself, given that -f is for foreground (and -n is for no-installation) I got this from strings /nix/store/g88v72s132jnkcnfgv8dnavawcvmgsq2-teamviewer-15.8.3/share/teamviewer/tv_bin/.teamviewerd-wrapped | less.

strace -fy teamviewerd -n -f, strace finishes running, but apparently teamviewerd backgrounds itself (afterwards visible in ps aux | grep teamviewerd).

teamviewerd -n -f manually, the terminal closes by itself, and no process is running.
